hike we did this morning to the napali coast... that's me way down there!

We met a couple guys last night at our campsite who've been doing much more hiking that we have. One guy had done several longer hikes and in the meantime had taken a tumble and gotten scraped up, and almost gotten caught in a riptide while swimming at a secluded beach. He made a comment that this trip has totally humbled him and made him respect nature so much more. It rang so true to me... how there's so much beauty and creativity... but within that is so much power to be in awe of and to respect. It's been such a true reflection of God's character to me!
